Just to let you know that there will be no more spellings to learn until after the Christmas holiday. There will be one more week of Mathletics and after that, don’t forget you can keep earning points by challenging other people. Remember to keep practising those times tables too! There are some links below to help you! Thank you for your support.
Due to enterprise and the Christmas Fair, our spellings this week will be tested on Monday. We also have our x7 tables test then and our Rivers projects are due in by Monday too! Good luck everyone!!
Wow! As part of our river topic, we had a wonderful visit from Paul Mooney from Look North today. He told us all about how to become a weather man, why it is important to know about maps and compass directions and how he predicts the weather. The children asked thought provoking questions and learnt lots from his visit. Well done everyone!
Well done everyone for learning your times tables. Remember we are going to be testing the x9 tables next Monday. Good luck!
Today we have been practising our x6 table facts, editing our writing, reading about food chains, learning the French months of the year and going swimming! Phew!! If you want to practise your times tables or show off your amazing French singing, watch the videos below. Well done everyone!
Today, the children have found out who they are trying to be kind to. This could be anything from a compliment, to a smile, to playing together in the playground. We want our children to always make the kind choice. We are going to link this work to This Morning's 'Be Kind' pledge. Find out more by clicking on the link below. And information about supporting your children with any concerns you have about friendships can be found in the relationships tab. We hope lots of our parents will be able to join us too for our friendship tales and activities.
Ww have been very busy the last two days! We have been finding out about time phrases to help the flow of our writing, developing understanding of how place value can help us to multiply, finding out what different teeth do and using our French to describe monsters. What super learners!
This week the children have been looking for efficient ways to measure perimeters. They loved this video, and asked for it to be added to the website!
