Relationship and Sex Education

We have a Relationship and Sex Education programme tailored to the age and the physical and emotional maturity of our children. This is taught through our Science and PSHE curriculum. It is supported by our School Nurse, Andrea Wilson.

Some parts of Relationship and Sex Education are compulsory - these are part of the national curriculum for Science. Parents can withdraw their children from all other parts of this education if they want.  If you do want to withdraw your child, alternative learning opportunities will be provided. For more detailed information, please see our Relationship and Sex Education Policy (listed in the Policies section of our website).

If you would like more information, please contact Mrs McManus (PSHE Co-ordinator) or Andrea Wilson (School Nurse).
