REACH FOR THE STARS... 21st March is World Downs Syndrome 'Lots of Socks' Day and we are raising the children's awareness by wearing odd socks on Wednesday. Improved attendance again with 96% and double WINITS this week for those attending on time every day. Well done Westerhope - the sponsored children did a wonderful job raising money for more books.

School Values

Our Vision and Values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Our Motto

'Reach for the Stars'. We simply want our pupils to be the best they can possibly be in all aspects of life. We want them to have ambition and aspiration - to strive to make life better for themselves and for others through their primary school years.

Ethos and Values

At Westerhope Primary School we believe that all our children are special and unique. We provide an environment which is safe, secure and where individuals treat each other and their property with respect. We work as a whole school team to provide a creative, stimulating and engaging curriculum for all our children. We are all evaluating our achievements and looking for ways in which we can move forward in our learning.

We give all our children the opportunity to fulfil their potential and reach for the stars through learning.
