Welcome to Year 3

Please look under Spring 1 at the bottom of this page to see what we have been learning this half term.

General notices are below.

PE kits are needed every Wednesday and Thursday. Please can you make sure your child has their kit (t-shirt, black shorts and trainers) in school and named. In January and February we will be going outside for PE lessons, please could you make sure your child has joggers and a hoody (gloves would be useful too) as part of their PE kit to keep warm. Thank you.

Reading books are needed in school daily and will come home every night. The children can change their books every Monday and Thursday.

Spellings will be sent home every Monday and tested every Friday. We will also add the spellings on our webpage, just in case your child forgets to bring the sheet home.smiley

Don't forget to spend about 5-10 minutes on Times Table Rockstars as often as possible. The games are now set for the X2, X3, X4, X5, X8 and X10.

We do have swimming lessons in Year 3, but not until the Summer term.
