Assessment
- Formative assessment is ongoing. This informs planning and allows work to be differentiated where appropriate.
- Children’s knowledge is assessed at the end of unit by completing end of unit quizzes. They are split into four sections to assess the four key language learning skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Teachers assess the children on the four key language learning skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, using a best-fit model.
