Please remind the children to go on times table rockstars as often as possible. We will be looking at the 3 X table very soon. 

Next week in Science we are looking at rocks, if your child has a rock at home please could they bring it in to help with our experiments? Any size will do. Thank you.

We were so lucky today to have a visitor to Year 3. Mr Pickup (the Headteacher at Newburn Manor) came to talk to us about rocks. He has a degree in Geology and he amazed us with some fascinating facts to kick off our Science topic. Ask your child how old the earth is... smiley

We have started our new unit in PE- throwing and catching. We tried hard to watch the ball so we know how and when to catch it. Can you try this at home?

School Council

 

We have been voting for our school councillors this week. We filled in an application form and presented it to the class. We are excited to start our jobs with Miss Stewart smiley
