We have had a fantastic Diversity Day today! The children have had lots of fun learning about being special and unique. The children have enjoyed being part of a whole school diversity assembly celebration, listening to african drum playing, a visit from the school nurse and having our very own Monsieur McDonald teaching the children french! What a fabulous day. Thank you for the kind donations.

What an incredible start to the school year for our Reception children! We are so proud of each and every one of them. The children have settled in to school life so well and have impressed us every single day with their ability to make friends, meet new adults, follow new routines and explore their new classroom with enthusiasm. The classroom has such a lovely, warm, happy atmosphere - it's going to be a fantastic year, we can just feel it!

We feel so honoured to be a part of your children's journey in beginning their school life here at Westerhope Primary School. We look forward to teaching your children and providing a stimulating learning environment whereby your child will flourish, feel happy and safe and reach for the stars through learning.
