Autumn 2

Thank you all so much for all of our lovely Christmas gifts! We appreciate them all - thank you!

The children were absolutely amazing in their Christmas performance, there was fantastic singing, dancing and acting. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. We were incredibly proud of them all.

The children are allowed to bring a toy into school tomorrow (Thursday 20th December), please ask them to bring something they are happy to share and nothing expensive (for example - no ipads etc). We break up for the Christmas holidays tomorrow afternoon at 3:15pm. Thank you.

Can we also take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday 7th January. smiley

We are so impressed with the puppets the children made for homework! We are planning to make a shadow theatre after the Christmas holidays and create our very own plays with our puppets. Well done Year 3.

Monday 10th December

Just a quick note to say there will be no spellings until the New year. Please spend as much time as possible on times tables rockstars over the next few weeks. We have now moved onto the 4 times table. We will keep consolidating the X2, X3, X5 and X10 tables.

We are looking forward to our party on Friday afternoon. An email has been sent home with all the details on for the next weeks.

What a fantastic day we have had at the Great North Museum. The children were so well behaved and learnt so much. We went to a workshop about colour in nature and then had a good look around the museum. Our favourite gallery was the Ice age to Iron age, it was jam packed with artefacts that we recognised!
