Autumn 2

Art
We had so much fun practising our observational and drawing skills.

We had to draw with our non-drawing hand, cover up our hand so we couldn’t see what we were drawing and draw without taking our pencil off the page. This made us look very carefully are the leaf. We loved it too!

We have been thinking about hot and cold colours.

Music!

Super listening and appraising in music today! We represented our ideas in picture form, identifying the similarities and differences between the songs.

We have loved reading more traditional tales today.

Geography Time!

We have had a lovely day for World Kindness Day.  We have thought very carefully of the qualities which make a good friend.  During play time and lunch time the children were challenged to play with someone that they have never played with before.

In Year 2 today, we based all of our learning around Remembrance Day. It is so important to take time to reflect on the sacrifices the soldiers made and continue to make to protect our country.

11.11.20 Alphabetical order

We are loving our Supertato book in English! Watch out for some evil vegetables on the loose. We are busy writing a wanted poster as there’s an awful broccoli causing havoc in all the local supermarket. Do watch out!

Continents Song

In Maths, we are loving these catchy tunes to help us learn key Maths facts. We love dancing along to them too.
