It's that magical time of the year again!
The run up to Christmas is such a special time for us in reception.
Everyday is filled with so much sparkle and fun
(and lots and lots of glitter!)
We were such lucky learners this morning to have the wonderful author of Yucky Worms, Vivian French, read her wonderful and yucky book to us! She was AMAZING!
The children listened so well and learned lots about using their imagination when writing their own stories! (We have been inspired so watch this space...!)
Here is a link to Vivian French's website for you to look at with your child:
We are so lucky in our Reception class to be surrounded by such wonderful, caring, thoughtful children. Our children are wonderful friends every day, although seeing the extra friendly sparkle this week for Secret Buddy week has made all friends and grown-ups in class incredibly proud (and melted our hearts numerous times this week!).
Thank you for being you!
One of our little learners made up this sweet little song for her friend...
"When you are lonely and you haven't got a friend, I'll give you a hug and I'll sing you a song!"
Please share with us anything you have done out of school which has made you proud so we can hear all about your achievements and celebrate in class!
