Late/Absence Procedures

You may see our Pastoral Leader and Behaviour Support Officer around school in the morning at 'drop off' times - Ms Wyld and Mr Brown are responsible for ensuring that pupils attend school on time. They also monitor drop-off and pick-up arrangements. Ms Wyld can assist faimiles with practical advice and support so that our pupils are on time, ready to learn and have the best posible start to the day. However, If your child is late for school on a regular basis you may expect the school to contact you so that we can work together to improve punctuality.  We are particularly focussing on key days and patterns of lateness this year. Our aim is to work with you so that your child has the best possible start to the day.

Please note also that school needs to be informed about early pick up arrangements. This is particularly imprtant if a medical appointment has been arranged and medical appoinment cards should be produced.

The attendance policy for 2018/19 is available on the Attendance page
