‘Darkmouth’ is great read and our pupils have looked closely at what some of the creatures might look like. Have a look at some of those they will be encountering in the text. They have responded to discussion about the creatures with some impressive writing.

Welcome to Term 1b!
I am looking forward to the coming half-term and seeing the children back at school tomorrow, when we'll be creating some scary settings in our writing. We'll also start our work on fractions, decimals and percentages.
This half-term, we will be continuing to read our Class Reader (Wonder by R J Palacio) and we are going to be thinking about being kind. In addition, we will be completing some further work on esafety and being digital citizens, expanding on our previous work to look at using apps etc. - we'll be creating our own board games to show off our learning!
We will also be going on our first exciting class trip - details to follow very shortly!
