Art Theft?

Terrible news today! The work of art donated to the school last week has been stolen! 'Life' by Marcel Rilee was under guard in the Westerhope foyer but overnight the painting of a beautiful seascape was taken. The painting was worth an estimated £30,000. The display was damaged but fortunately the thief (or thieves) left some clues. Mr Bell tasked each class with using their scientific skills to work out who is responsible. Unfortunately for the school, we have some teachers under suspicion and during assembly we were visited by the artist himself - all the way from France. He demanded his masterpiece back or the person responsible to be exposed. It is up to our pupils to solve the crime using scientific skills. Watch this space as the investigation develops.
