Great start to topics!

Our classes have made a great start to the study of their new topics. Year 3 for example have looked at the Stone Age, with 'Stig of the Dump' the class reader. They have been visited by a geologist, who left a collection of interesting rocks such as cannonball limestone. They have imitated the style of ancient cave painters as well as writing about life during this time. They appeared to be experts on this topic during their fire lighting session but were not too sure about spotting a real life Stig on the school grounds earlier this week! Have a look out for their models of cave dwellings in the coming weeks.
