One of our pupils has done something incredible to help others. She has recently had 32cm of her super long hair cut off, to donate to The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
She did this for her friend when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, age 15, in February this year. This has been a difficult time for her and her family with many ups and downs but thankfully, she is responding well to treatment.
In addition to this, her family has asked people to sponsor her to raise money for Cancer Research UK. They set a realistic target of £100, however, she’s smashed it and they are currently at £495!
Her family are on a mission to raise awareness of The Little Princess Trust, and to try get more for Cancer Research UK. The easiest way to help is to follow the link to their fundraising page:
