'Making a Difference'

One of our key drivers in school is for our children to continue to make a difference for others. This week saw two excellent example. Firstly, we all wore odd socks for World Down Syndrome Day. Our teachers spent time highlighting the positive impact those with Downs Syndrome have upon our communities. Secondly, we had a Sports Relief Dance-a-thon with our pupils attempting to have a class dancing right throughout the day. We considered the lives of other children in South Africa where life is more difficult for many children. We looked at how sports can offer relief from growing up in poverty.
