Westerhope versus Hurricane Hector
We had a wonderful day hiking through the Broomley woods in search of the mythical wild brown haggis. We stalked the creature for miles - crossing streams, crawling under trees and clambering up banks. We were promised a feast on our arrival but a great storm had swept our tents away. We sheltered in the woods but were forced to abandon the overnight camp due to 50 mph winds. Nevertheless we had a great day. We plan to return soon to enjoy another day of fun that we missed.
