Year 5 OWLT Athletics Event

On Thursday 17th March, our year 5 children took part in an athletics event at Newburn Leisure Centre with Newburn Manor Primary School.

The children were put into mixed teams and took part in 9 indoor athletic events. In the afternoon, they took part in sprinting and cross country events.

All of the children represented Westerhope Primary School brilliantly and had lots of fun taking part in the events and getting to know other children.
