Our Themes

POSSIBILITIES      MAKING A DIFFERENCE      BOOKS BUILD BRAINS    ADVENTURE

Our themes were established as a whole staff. They are what we wanted to be the building blocks for our curriculum because they sum up what we belief will lead to our children being prepeared to tackle the challenges they may face in the future.

Each term one theme is the focus and this is discussed during assemblies and emphasised at appropriate points during lessons.

BOOKS BUILD BRAINS is promoted constantly through all that we do and each of the other themes has a termly focus.

POSSIBILITIES - Autumn

MAKING A DIFFERENCE - Spring: We also support a school chosen charity during this term and promote enterprise.

ADVENTURE - Summer: We hope the weather is better in the summer term and we can provide outdoor and adventurous activities for the children including a residential visit in Year 6.

Below you will find the posters we display in classrooms and share with the children.
