Note that the Secretary of State for Education has stated that schools will not be open for key worker care over the summer holidays. Watch this space for opportunities for summer community activity events. We are open for year 6 and key worker pupils from Monday 15th June. Reception places - September 2020

Apply now for Reception class places in September 2020
If your child was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 it is now time to apply for a school place for them to start in a reception class in September 2020.
The deadline for submitting your application is midday (12 noon) on 15th January 2020. You can apply online on the Newcastle City Council Website using the link below.

Key dates in the admissions process for September 2019

1 September 2019 Application process opens online for 2020/21
15 January 2020 Closing date. Deadline for applications is midday (12 noon). Any evidence to support your application must also be submitted now.
31 January 2020 Last date for you to tell us about exceptional circumstances, such as a house move, for it to be considered in the process for national offer day.
16 April 2020 National offer day. Login online to see your offer. Alternatively we will post letters second class today to paper applicants.
1 May 2020 Deadline to accept offer. If you do not respond we may remove the place and reallocate it to another child.
8 May 2020 First waiting list run. This is the day that any places that have become available since offer day will be reallocated. We will contact you if we can offer your child a higher preference school.
13 May 2020 Deadline to submit late changes and late applications to be considered in the second waiting list run.
18 May 2020 Deadline to submit an appeal to ensure it is heard in the first round of appeals.
12 June 2020 Second waiting list run to reallocate places that have become available.  Late applicants will be made offers today.
June/July Places continue to be offered from waiting lists each week.
September Your child starts school. If your child was not offered a place in your first preference school, they will remain on waiting lists for any higher preference schools until at least 31 December. If the school clears the waiting list after this date, they will contact you. If you want to change your school preferences from 1 September, you must complete an in-year application.
