TODAYS STARS OF THE WEEK *****

The valentine disco is in full swing!

Look what we captured on our night-cam...a fox! Amazing!

Our Mammal Watch equipment is up and running! Excitement is defintiely in the air. I wonder what our night cam will capture?

Our wonderful shining stars this week are...

We have had so much fun learning about Inuit people this week, and to finish it off...

A simple game with many mathematical opportunities! Try it at home, who will win?!

Star of The Week! Well done our super learner!

When your imagination works wonders...

Our *Stars of the Week*

Our Frozen Planet topic has certainly come to life this week!

Wow! Child-initiated learning in full dancing swing! From relaxing winter music playing in the background during play and learning time to signing up to join a dance class! All organised by our musically inspired learners!

What an adventure our learners have been on this afternoon! Take a look at this wonderful outdoor experience...

HERE ARE OUR STARS FOR THIS WEEK!

Terrific timing! The snow has arrived for our new topic - Frozen Planet 🌍❄️⛄️

This little learner has certainly impressed our headteacher, Mr Outterside, today! Well done for showing super progress in your wonderful writing! We are so proud of you!

Thank you to our NSPCC visitors for talking to our children about how to speak out and be heard, be safe, and how to get help if they need it.

"Why does the moon come out in the day time?" one of our inquisitive little learners asked during his outdoor learning play. Wow! So, together we shared our thoughts and used the internet to research the answer! Can you tell your grown up what you found out?

Our new and exciting morning routine for our wonderful independent learners!

We are so proud of our super learners and how amazingly well they have settled in to their new morning routine! Each morning for twenty minutes, straight after registration, the children take part in an independent learning job in small groups.

These very important jobs include: 1:1 reading with a teacher, a creative 'Let's Write' activity, phonics learning, practising their word walls and a practical maths game.

Can your child tell you which polar animal group they belong to? Can they share with you what they have been learning in their new groups each morning?

This Weeks Wonderful Stars

We have been reading super stars learning to explore our story books; sharing our thoughts about what we like, dislike and any puzzles and thoughts we have.

So lovely to have all of our little eager learners back in action...

We have been super scientists exploring changes!

Our new wonderful winter enhancements just waiting to be explored...

Wishing a very Happy New Year to all of our lovely Reception children and families!

We are bursting to see all of our lovely little learners and we can't wait to hear all of their Christmas holiday news!
