Here Come The Dragons...
Our dragon topic continues this term with a focus on Cressida Cowell’s ‘How to train your dragon’ and non- chronological reports about dragons (including the fascinating, and real, Komodo dragon!) In guided reading and topic lessons we will be moving from life in Anglo Saxon times to focus on the Viking invaders!
Because we are only in school for three days this week, there will be no spelling homework. However, over the holidays keep practising your maths skills on Mathletics and Times Table Rock stars and see how many books you can read too. Good luck everyone!
Year 4 have all become Rock Stars! They have now all recieved their passwords and are becoming times table superstars by competing on the games below. We can't wait to see all your Rock Star avatars!!
Just a reminder that Year 4 will be taking part in Bikeability training tomorrow. You just need to remember to bring your bike, helmet (if you have one) and a waterproof coat. Thank you!
We hope you have all enjoyed our snow days! Because we weren't in school we have decided to test you spellings on Friday 10th March - so keep practising them. Also don't forget Mathletics, there are new challenges for you every Monday and we have our Priory homework due in just before Easter.
As we not in school on World Book Day, we don't want any of the children to miss out so we will be holding it on Tuesday. More details will be sent out on ParentPay. Thank you for all your support!
Year 4 are in the process of collating information from a range of sources about the fascinating Komodo Dragons.
Ask them to tell you what they already know about these giant lizards!
Next week, we have been given the opportunity for Year 4 to improve their biking and road safety skills. For more information, please read the letter below.
Thank you for your support!
