STEM week has started! Children reflected on what they already knew about bees.

19.3.19 Year 6 children had great fun, showed perseverance and developed their reasoning skills by taking part in the 'Crystal Conundrum!'

Year 6 had a great time learning about the process of mummification and then working collaboratively to write a poem, song or rap to teach others. We performed them in front of our class mates.

Year 6 played a game to consolidate their knowledge of 2D shape properties such as parallel lines, perpendicular lines, lines of symmetry etc

Rinke, a Northumbria University lecturer, worked with the children in Year 6 learning about classification of living organisms.
