Thank you so much for all your hard work with the eggs. They were eggscellent...
We got to make clay bees today with The Clay Team! We loved getting to create our own bee. We will get them after Easter
The children have decorated biscuits into bees and are selling them on the yard tomorrow. 50p per biscuit
We are so excited for stem week all about bees! Yesterday we had a special visitor who taught us all about pollination. We learnt that bees travel around different plants collecting nectar and pollen. The pollen gets stuck to them and they pass it onto the next flower. We represented this using cheesy puffs. We went around the classroom collecting cheesy puffs and could see the 'pollen' on our fingers!
We then went around our school grounds. We looked for flowering plants for bees to pollinate. We used a map to show where these plants were.
Class 5 were lucky enough to have Mrs Coker come and teach a lesson she saw in Shanghai! We learnt all about right angles. We used stem sentences to remember what they were. We made a right angle checker and found real life right angles. Thanks Mrs Coker!
Thank you so much for coming along today! The children loved sharing their work with you and singing their song. We hope you enjoyed the scones!
Thank you for coming in to make a bookmark with your child this morning! The children really enjoyed it and couldn't wait to put them in their books. Their costumes were amazing and we loved sharing stories with Year 6.
We loved using the green screen today to perform our diaries from the Great Fire of London.
