It's time for our next amazing topic! This half term we are going to be finding out about the world of Impressionist Art and discovering how we can keep it safe by learning about electricity and developing our own burglar alarms. We will be using the Anholt's Artist collection of books to find out more about these creative masters. You can find out more about these texts by clicking on the link below. For our class reader we will be continuing 'How to train your dragon'. It's going to be a very exciting term!!

On Friday, we had an amazing time being visited by the Lord Mayor and Catherine McKinnell MP. We took part in an assembly with KS2 where our pupils asked questions. We learned the difference between local and national government. We then held a debate about the use of mobile phones in schools. Catherine McKinnell also gave us tips about debating and showed us how MPs function in Parliament. What fantastic learning Year 4!
