Although it was very very wet, Year 3 had an amazing day at the Roman Army museum and Vindolanda yesterday. We took part in a Latin lesson, saw a bird's eye view of the Hadrian's wall, listened to an archaeologist talk about recent findings at Vindolanda and lots more. The rain didn't put us off, we still walked around Vindolanda, looking for the Roman Baths and the latrines, ask your child what the latrines are! smiley

A super day out and exceptionally well behaved children!

Year 3 have had such a treat this afternoon We had a visit from our very own ex-professional footballer to tell us all about life as a footballer. Mr Outterside kept us fit by showing us what a typical training session looked like when he was younger. We were exhausted by the end of the lesson!

Thank you Mr Outterside.
