Good to be me day

As part of mental health awareness week we had our good to be me day on Friday!

We we helped our minds by taking part in mindfulness colouring.

We focused on the book - “The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse” - which is full of lovely quotes linked to being kind to ourselves.

We recreated some of the drawings and quotes on the iPads using the Keynote app and we had a go at drawing the pictures by hand.

We recreated a page from the book using pens

Music

This week in music we had a go at signing the song “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley.

Art Day - Sculptures

In art, we are learning all about sculptures.

We created sculptures based on Anglo-Saxon houses.

First, we went out to our school garden to find materials to use to build our structures.

Then we constructed them in pairs.

We were not allowed to plan or design our sculptures and we let the materials do the thinking.
