Summer 2

On our first day of MADD week we read the story of the Wizard of Oz and we studied the characters from the film.

We then completed some Wizard of Oz inspired artwork, which is available for parents to purchase in frame for £3.50. An email has been sent out today about this, which will be able to be purchased through ParentPay.

We also managed to fit in a a rehearsal for our MADD Parade performance, which we are very excited for.

We acted out what could have happened between the Land of Oz characters before Dorothy arrived. We also watched some clips from Wicked, which tells the story of Glinda (the good witch) and Elphaba (Wicked Witch of the West).

We all helped to make our MADD Parade flag and we also made lots of props and costumes for our performance!

We performed our Wizard of Oz performance at the MADD parade and we were amazing! We hope you enjoyed out interpretation of the story.

We performed our creative writing play at the Alphabetti Theatre and we were fantastic.

Thank you you to all of the parents and family who came to watch us.

Thank you to Christina and Jude for helping us with the project.

Year 5's Performance at the Alphabetti Theatre!

We had a taster morning at Studio West School.

We had bagels and read our books when we first got there.

We completed two lessons called project based learning, which is what you would do if you attended the school.

Our artwork based on Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde was fantastic.
