Summer 2

Thank you again to all of the wonderful parents and families that have made this year truly wonderful for our Nursery children. This year has had its challenges but with your support, Nursery has been the light of it all.

I wish you all the best on your new adventures and look forward to seeing some of you in September in Reception!

Enjoy the summer!

☀️ ❤️ ☀️

As a goodbye treat, we had ice creams at snack time! Mrs Poolan and Ms Blair were fabulous ice cream ladies.

We enjoyed yet another Friendship picnic when some friends returned from isolation!

We enjoyed dancing to our Westy Festy Song, ‘Reach for the Stars’. Look out for our performance...out soon!

Friendship Picnic!

What a wonderful morning spent in the sunshine having a friendship picnic and an adventure to the garden!

Westy Festy Dancing!

Our Westy Festy dancing was so much fun and quickly became a dress design session! What a creative bunch!

What a fabulous start to our Westy Festy Week. Our theme is ‘Friendship’!

We have been making friendship bracelets and hanging them on our friendship tree, making special messages for friends at our friendship writing station and making hearts and rainbows in our art area to gift to friends!

Please see the topic map below for this half term!

Sports Week has been so fun this week, especially with the beautiful sunshine! We enjoyed obstacle courses and applied our physical development skills in new ways!

We hope you have all had a wonderful half term! We are so excited for lots of sunny summer adventures together. Our new theme is ‘The Seaside’ and we have loved exploring the new seaside enhancements in our classroom.
