Useful Information

Operation Encompass

This initiative aims to safeguard children who are affected by domestic abuse and ensuring that appropriate services are made aware of an incident at the earliest possible opportunity. Northumbria Police, the Police and Crime Commissioner and Newcastle City Council will offer our school support when it is known that external issues may have an impact on a child.

County Lines
County lines is a term used to describe gangs and organised criminal networks involved in exporting illegal drugs into one or more importing areas within the UK, using dedicated mobile phone lines or other form of “deal line”. They are likely to exploit children and vulnerable adults to move and store the drugs and money and they will often use coercion, intimidation, violence and weapons.
