Spring 2026

Easter fun in the garden! We hunted for spring creatures, competed in egg & spoon races, tasted hot cross buns and had so much fun with our friends! What a lovely end to the half term!

As it is World Mental Health week and Valentine’s day coming soon we have been talking about being kind and spreading love in our classroom. The children have been inspired by the story The Scarecrow's Wedding and decided to oragnise their own weddings. They showed great communication skills and listened to each other's ideas so well. What a fabulous day full of celebrations and learning new vocabulary too! #THROW CONFETTI!#

After reading the book - Immi - we've been learning about how it feels to be part of an Inuit community. Today in Forest Friday we pretended to be one. We practised hunting Arctic animals and shelter building for survival, as well as drumming, dancing and traditional throat singing. We had so much fun!
