Year 3 had an amazing time touring around Newcastle as part of their geography learning.    In geography, they are learning about Europe including Newcastle therefore they took part in a tour around Newcastle city centre to support them with their fieldwork.    They were able to use maps and they learned lots of facts about their city. 

Well done to all the children who entered the Christmas Art Competition this year! We had so many amazing entries, it was very difficult to choose the winners! Thank you to the Nationwide Bank in the centre of Newcastle who provided the prizes. They will also be displaying some of the children's art work over the Christmas holidays. 

Well done year 5! You were all brilliant and your carol concert at St John’s has us all feeling very festive. 

Our talented children showed off their hobbies and talents again today and we love to see what our children have been getting up to.    A particularly special show and tell was one of our children who went to the Royal Variety Show and even saw King Charles - amazing. Thank you for sharing 😊   Our football team did not win their match but their sportsmanship and behaviour was noticed and commented upon. We are very proud of them and know that elusive goal is coming soon!

Our Christmas fund raising advent calendar raffle raised £120 and we had a very happy winner and runners up. Enjoy! 

Class 7 were lucky enough to go and see The Little Mermaid pantomime at the Theatre Royal.    This was thanks to Ella who won an art competition called ‘Design your theatre of the future’.    The children really enjoyed the show from start to finish. Lots of laughs and happy faces!
