  • Celebration Assembly 7th February 2025
This week we had the highest house point weekly results we have ever had! The children are determined to be the winning house for the half term - watch out, the results are getting closer!   Year 2, Class 6 also performed two poems for us and they wrote the second one themselves! It was super and they have really set the standard for the ‘show and tells’ to follow.   We celebrated a variety of talents including another Lexia finisher from Year 5! Once again the variety of talents Westerhope children have is impressive. Keep it up everyone.

A special visitor came to help out in an assembly this week. We had a launch assembly all about 'WOW' a walk to school challenge. This project encourages children to walk to school and highlights all of the benefit of walking. The children will have the chance to win badges if they hit the monthly target of times walked to school. We will be comparing classes and reviewing which classes are walking to school the most. We look forward to hopefully seeing an increase in children choosing to walk to school!
