    Year 5 started off their new unit of work this morning, World War II, creating these fabulous pieces of artwork. They were so good we have put them up to brighten up the classrooms!

  • Valentine's Day 14th February 2024
    We loved coming up with the idea of having a Valentine's board in school for the week of Valentine's. Children in school were invited to write things that they love about school and their friends on a love heart and attach it to the school board. We look forward to sharing them together and seeing what the highlights of school life are in our school community.

  • RE - Year 5 and 6 Islam workshop 6th February 2024
    Years 5 and 6 welcomed visitors into school today from the Islamic diversity centre in Newcastle. They taught us all about Islam and what it is like to be a Muslim. We learnt about the 5 pillars of Islam - what they are and why they are significant.

  • Celebration assembly 26th January 2024
    There was another opportunity for a class show and tell today and the children have clearly been very busy learning about gravity in science and abut North America in Geography. Well done class 11!   More talented children have shared their hobbies and skills over the last two weeks and they have included sewing, enterprise, and football.    This is one of the highlights of the week in school so please do encourage your children to keeping bringing in their achievements.

  • Eco Club's first award! 26th January 2024
    A massive congratulations to the Eco Club for gaining the Woodland Trust's Green Tree Bronze Award. They had to complete a variety of tasks to gain enough credits for the bronze award, such as: creating woodland art pictures with natural materials and designing our tree mascot. We are all very proud of the team. Well done to you all!
