It is Christmas party day in Nursery today! πŸŽ„ The children have had a wonderful time πŸŽ„ Thank you for all of your support and kindness this term πŸŽ„ Have a very Merry Christmas! πŸŽ„

A lovely snap shot capturing Christmas moments of dressing up creatively to suit the moment in play, Christmas dinner preparations and that special time with family and friends around the table, finished with some Christmas mindfulness time to relax and unwind.

Christmas Performance and Party Day!

The Panto came to our school! We loved watching the funny show of Treasure Island.

We enjoyed a visit from Dog's Trust and learned how to act around dogs safely!

The countdown has begun! We have enjoyed a cosy Christmassy atmosphere today in Reception!

Fantastic Farm Animals! We loved meeting, brushing and petting the friendly farm animals and we learned so many new words and facts about them, like, a sheep has a 'fleece' and a baby goat is a 'kid'. What a super experience!

We have all joined Drawing club! <3 We love it! What fantastic and creative ideas the children have had! Amazing thinking everyone!

Happy Halloween!

We strengthened the muscles in our hands by using clay and other natural materials to make fairies. We used sticks as our tools to make faces and patterns.

An afternoon of observational drawings of mushrooms...

When marvellous mushrooms are add to the creativity in our play...

The stormy weather brought oodles of water fun for our water inquisitive learners!

A troop of marvelous mushrooms appeared in Reception today. We shared a beautiful story called Mushroom Rain and learned about spores using bubbles. We always have so much fun in reception!

Our Reception learners have been really curious about different types of leaves after going on a leaf hunt on Forest Friday... leaf inspired learning is sprinkled in Reception!

We were so excited to discover a wriggly little creature today! It brought lots of curious questions to explore! A few friends became β€˜nature savers’ and found a safe new home for the caterpillar.

A wonderful morning of drawing and mark-making in Reception...Can you retell the story to your grown up using our story map?
