They worked in small teams and decided what to do together. Mrs Russell came to have a look and was very impressed! Then of course, we ate EVERYTHING! 😊😊😊

  • Celebration Assembly

    Fri 25 Nov 2022

We had a very busy assembly today. Year 1, Class 5, did their first show and tell assembly all abut the Great Fire of London. They used super clear voices, demonstrated outstanding knowledge and showed great confidence speaking in front of the whole school! They were superb!

We also had a variety of talents shared which included: football skills; gymnastics badges (front flips and cartwheels on beams!); sewing and craft. What a talented bunch we are!

The football team were also celebrated, especially their team work skills which Mr McDonald was very impressed with. The future is bright for this team we think!

Well done everyone, this was a fantastic end to the week.

  • U11 football

    Thu 24 Nov 2022 P McDonald

What a great evening I have had working with the U11 footballers from Year 5 and 6. Their incredible teamwork made a cold and wet evening very enjoyable. It was like watching Brazil!

A big thank you to all the parents who were able to come down and support, it was great to have you all there!

  • Lindisfarne Gospels Assembly

    Thu 24 Nov 2022 P McDonald

A big thank you to RGS students who led an assembly to Key Stage 2 about the Lindisfarne Gospels. The children were really interested and the RGS students were inspiring. You still have time to see the Lindisfarne Gospels at the Laing Art Gallery as the exhibit is on until 3rd December. Check them out if you can, they are breath-taking.

  • Breakfast Burritos!

Wed 23 Nov 2022 Mrs Dalkin

Brunch club made some delicious Breakfast Burritos this week. They decided which fillings they would add. Some added pizza sauce, scrambled eggs, ham and cheese! There were even a FEW baked beans thrown in too. Baked in the oven with a layer of cheese over the top. Very tasty. It was definitely a HIT this week.
