Year 4 have been creating their Design and Technology textiles unit of sewing a book cover using a running stitch. We attached a button fastening and decorated the front with some buttons and designs. We worked in pairs and had to be very resilient and not give up. Well done Year 4!

  • Key Stage 1 Nativity Performance

Wed 14 Dec 2022 Miss Holisz

What a busy day it has been in Key Stage 1!  Not only did we have one performance but we performed twice in one day!

We are so proud of all of the children and the way that they performed.  They sang their little hearts out and took their own individual roles very seriously.  For many of these children, it was their very first Christmas production in front of an audience - and what a great job they did!  Thanks must also go to all the parents for their support with the costumes - it wouldn't have been possible without you, so thank you!

Visit the photo gallery for more photos, where we will continue to add to the gallery throughout this week.

  • BLT Brunch!

Wed 14 Dec 2022 Mrs Dalkin

What a fantastic end to our Brilliant Brunch Club! We made our own style BLT sandwiches. They were delicious and lots of staff were suddenly in the Year 5/6 kitchen area, after smelling the bacon wafting along the corridor!
Thank you everyone for coming to the club. 😊😊😊

  • Christmas Kindness

Tue 13 Dec 2022 Mrs Hay

Thank you to our wonderful Year 4 learner and family for sharing this wonderful act of Christmas kindness.

    Message from mum:

"Today after school * has done a food shop for the food bank. She has chosen the items which she think people will like and need over the Christmas holidays.
She has been talking about how some people need a little extra help so she thought it would be nice to this."

We are so proud of the kindness you have shown to others - keep shining brightly and continue to sprinkle your kindness everywhere you go!

  • New non-fiction books. We received our prize bundle of books from Newcastle library today. We already have our trophy on display for coming 2nd in the Newcastle Summer reading challenge and we now have some fantastic new books to use across school.
