  • Photography club

    Wow, what an incredible couple of weeks we have had at photography club!   

    The children have definitely developed their photography skills and I am incredibly proud of them.  They children have also enjoyed evaluating their own photographs.

  • Gaming Club

    Wed 29 Mar 2023 Mr Bosworth

    Year 5 have been enjoying the last instalment of Gaming Club this week with some competitive action on Mario Kart and Rocket League. We’ve also been flexing our collaborative problem solving skills on Human Fall Flat and Minecraft. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed gaming together this term, including Mr Bosworth!

  • Year 4 trip to Vindolanda

    Year 4 had a brilliant time at Vindolanda. Mr McDonald shared his knowledge with us about the Roman fort and what life was like there. We spent time at the Roman army museum and then went to Vindolanda after lunch. They really impressed us all with their historical knowledge and their behaviour. Well done Year 4!

  • Dance club

    Do you want to learn some new dance moves? Then lunchtime dance club could be for you! Our Year 6 children decided there was a need for a dance club, so planned and organised it all themselves. Every week they learn a few new moves. What a fabulous way to get fit and have fun. Well done Year 6. 

  • Chess club

    Look how popular our lunchtime chess club is! This club is organised and run by a few of our Year 6 children. Our main organiser said, “ Chess club is one of the clubs that is open to all our children from year 1 to year 6. I think it suits beginners and more advanced players. But the main purpose is to have fun and learn new skills.” It certainly looks like fun! Well done Year 6. 

  • Forest Fridays!

    Reception have been learning about the Easter story so we visited our school garden to create our own Easter crosses. We worked together to help everyone join their sticks using tape or string before going on a journey to find things to decorate them. Great team work and perseverance Reception!

  • Football club

    The girls in Years 5 and 6 have been having a great time at football club. They work on skills every week and then towards the end of the session play a game! They are very competitive and have so much fun. 

  • Reception artists!

    Our fabulous reception artists have made a wonderful start to art week with some spring time painting inspired by French painter Claude Monet’s ‘Water Lilies’ masterpiece!

    Mr Bell’s science club has been going very well. The children have been completing investigations in order to achieve their CREST Superstar award which is a great honour having only had one person achieve this so far. Here is a selection of photos from the club so far.
