• Year 4 Commando Joe’s

  The children enjoyed their second mission, helping each other through a hurricane in the Atlantic. There were many obstacles in the way, not to mention the blind fold which had to be worn by a partner at all times. The children were fantastic and were able to build character skills such as communication, teamwork, empathy, perseverance and resilience. Well done year 4. I’m looking forward to our next mission!

  

• Celebration Assembly

  Today, our class show and tell assembly was brilliant! The children were able to teach us all about their science learning from science week and they showed us how a drone could be used. They were confident, clear and have set the bar high for the other assemblies this half term. Well done, you were superb! 🌟

  

• Refugee charity donations

  Year 4 collected donations for Action Foundation for refugees ans part of our UK area of study! The charity were very thankful for the collections and said they will make a huge difference. 

  

• Year 5/6 Girls football club

  Our girls have been busy enjoying football club every Monday night. They are learning lots of new skills and we are hopefully going to arrange a game soon! Here are some photographs of some practise shots. 

  

• Year 4 super Art work

  Year 4 have been busy looking at the artist Paul Cezanne and recreating his artwork. We did some gestural drawing where we had to use the method of looking and drawing quickly to recreate a still life picture. Then the children created their own still life photo where they thought about the layout and composition of the picture. Next week they will draw and paint their still life picture! 🎨🖼️👩‍🎨🧑‍🎨

  

• Building resilience and working as a team in year 1!

  We have had lots of exciting 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and 'The Three Little Pigs' adventures in our Commando Joe sessions which have enabled us to begin to build more resilience and team work skills.

  

• New block delivery!

  New blocks have been delivered to year 1! We have enjoyed working together and using our imagination to plan and build brilliant models. 

  

• Special Friends Story Sharing

  Year 1 and year 4 had a wonderful time meeting with their special friend! We shared stories and drew pictures together inspired by the stories.
